I don't mind ironing napkins for company, but I won't do it before every meal. Our previous cloth napkins came out of the dryer with ruffled edges and were so difficult to fold properly that no one wanted the job. I decided to give them a try despite wondering about the benefits of a waterproof wipe (how would they handle spills?). They are better than I imagined. They've been through many washes and still look brand new. The edges do not turn over in the dryer and the material does not wrinkle. There were no issues with waterproofing. I order ten more!
