This lavender scented Lavi dog feels incredibly soft and smells sooo good. Even without heating, I could smell fresh lavender as soon as I took the lid off the (super cute) packaging. It was easy to undo the velcro at the back of my head and pull out the lavender sachet. This is real dried lavender, not artificial scented balls. I heated the bag according to the instructions. I didn't let it get too hot, just enough to bring out the flavor. It was easy to put it back in the hole. It must be ensured that the Velcro edges are on top of each other, otherwise the seam will scratch. Once inside, the sachet comfortably warms the dog's head and lasts for a good half hour. It's not warm enough to wear on the back of your head and use as a muscle relaxant, which is good for kids (otherwise I'd keep it for myself haha). I originally got this as a gift for a friend who just had a baby. However, when I opened it, my kids explained it quite a bit :)
