Review on πŸŽ™οΈ Custom Shockmount for Blue Yeti and Yeti Pro USB Microphones - Blue Radius III by Bill Garczynski

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Paid new, got used.

The package came with a blue tamper evident tape that runs around the seam and is completely cut at the perforation line and is instead secured with a clear circular sticker. The shock was covered in dust, one of the bolts on the bracket was clearly marked on the head by someone trying to adjust the bolt. Also, the shock mount angle adjustment point scratched the paintwork as if someone had rudely adjusted the boom. The part of the grip that actually attaches to the microphone was also bent. I put my Yeti on it and noticed that it hangs unevenly on the shock. At first I thought the elastic tension cords were tighter in some places than others, but I had to bend the mounting arm in place to keep the mount from looking silly. Pay $50 to get what's already been abused. A bad opinion of who makes accessories for Blue if QA gets over it, or a very bad opinion of Revain if fulfilling their order is sending open packages.

The screw doesn’t fit the Yeti

Screw is still loose, light shockmount though and seems to get nice angles!
