Bought two, one died six months later. 90 day guarantee is not enough

I liked the features of this product; Surge protection, five 110-volt grounded outlets and two USB ports; a type A and a type 3. It was hooked up to a filter coffee maker and a 1800w induction cooker. It was working great until this did. On the back, in barely legible small print, it says that it needs to be replaced in the event of a power failure caused by an overvoltage. No reset button and tamper-proof screws hold everything together.
