Review on Dell P190S Professional 19-inch Monitor with πŸ–₯️ Swivel Adjustment, 60Hz Refresh Rate - SKU 464-7115 by Tom Shapiro

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Crisp, clear and affordable flat screen (digital)

Pros: Bright, sharp, clear display; integrated USB 2.0 ports; accepts digital and analog inputs. Cons: Not as smooth with native video drivers. Verdict: Considering the image quality of the Dell Professional P190s monitors, digital/analog inputs, pan/tilt/swivel, and built-in USB ports. We can be sure that this money was not spent in vain. The Dell Professional P190s 19" LCD is a 19" black TFT (Active Matrix) flat panel analog/digital LCD that offers both DVI-D digital and VGA analog inputs. The advantage of the Dell Professional P190s for me is the built-in 4-port USB 2.0 hub (more on that below), the monitor has a very thin, light frame with a black Y-shaped base, the overall visual impression is quite large ancient and modern. Like all Dell flat panel displays that have been released in recent years, the Dell Professional P190s has an internal power supply, eliminating the need for one of those bulky power supplies. The power cord plugs directly into the back of the Dell Professional P190s monitor. which is fully adjustable; Not only does it tilt forward 4 degrees and back about 21 degrees, it also offers 5 inches of continuous height adjustment (the monitor can be locked at the bottom for easy portability). The bezel also rotates 45 degrees left and 45 degrees. degrees to the right. In addition, the Dell Professional P190 can be rotated 180 degrees from horizontal to vertical and vice versa to adjust the screen content accordingly. Finally, the base can be removed from the Dell Professional P190 at the push of a button and the display can be mounted on the wall. USB everywhere Like the Dell 19050FP and E196FP, the Dell Professional P190s has four built-in USB 2.0 downstream ports, two are on the bottom rear (hard to reach) and two are on the Monitor Professional P190s with a USB port open to the computer to give you access to four USB ports. The ssional P190s is offered by Dell with desktops equipped with ATI and NVidia graphics cards (digital or analog) with drivers that can rotate images from landscape to portrait. If you purchased the Dell Professional P190 separately and your graphics card driver does not support monitor rotation, you can purchase the rotation software separately. Image quality in Windows Vista Home Premium and Windows 7 is lower. stunning at full resolution 1280 x 1024 (at 32-bit color), the maximum resolution for the display. The borderless screen displays text and graphics crisp, bright, with crisp detail, without a hint of stuttering or pixel dropouts. And the image on the monitor remains almost unchanged at different viewing angles. The display is bright but not sharp; After a few days of computer work, my eyes don't sting or hurt as they would with regular CRT displays and even some LCDs. Colors were slightly saturated and muted when using the Windows Vista graphics drivers for (some) Dell Professional P190s; not so with Windows 7 I like to report. You should endeavor to download and install a graphics driver that is specific to the graphics card you are using, and leave the card's native Windows drivers aside. Front panel controls are minimal, with just five buttons (far right). Display): Power button, three control buttons and one button for automatic screen adjustment. The menu button gives you access to the following monitor attributes: brightness, position, picture settings, color settings, OSD settings, language and factory reset. Manipulations with different controls speak for themselves; Although I didn't have a manual, I was able to quickly figure out how it worked. In the end, I'm (and my eyes) completely satisfied with the form and function of the Dell Professional P190s 19-inch Flat Panel Monitor. Display: For personal use, the device is very affordable at $239.00 from Dell (without buying a computer). Considering the picture quality of the Dell Professional P190s display, digital/analog inputs, pan/tilt/swivel functions and the integrated USB ports, I would consider this money well spent.
