Tip: Order the lamp in the same color as the lenses.
I tinted the rear lights, they got a bit dark, we needed brighter bulbs. I did a little research and found that a red bulb behind a red lens appears brighter than a white LED with higher lumens. I tried one of them at the same time and the difference was very noticeable. The right side was a white bulb and the left side was a red bulb. The difference is bigger than the picture seen on the pickup truck. I have a second picture online showing the difference. I've read that with amber lenses, the amber lamp keeps the color from looking bleached.
