I actually only bought this strap to mount metal hardware on a handmade bag I'm working on, but when it arrived I found I really like the belt itself. This won't work for the bag I'm making, so I carefully trimmed the seams to remove them from the hardware and save them for another project - maybe the handles of a tote bag. It's very soft and beautifully woven and I love the colors and designs. The hardware is also good and will work great for the bag I'm making. Very happy with this purchase, feels like getting a 2-fer!
