Be sure to remove the blue foil after cutting and before ironing!

My first impression when I received this vinyl was that the colors were a bit muted. In the photos they weren't as bright and vibrant. I tried MiPremium's HTV Chameleon and really liked the results. I was excited to try this brand and do a side-by-side comparison. To make my shirt I used 3 different vinyl products for this shirt: blue (MiPremium Chameleon), green and "red" (Meneng Chameleon HTV), yellow (MiPremium Gold). First, there were no instructions in my package. It's not too bad as I've used HTV before, but this brand of HTV vinyl has an extra blue protective film on the vinyl side. I was a bit confused after I finished cutting to see this blue layer peeling and peeling off. I took it off anyway and it was easy to iron. It was only when I came back to review this product that I found instructions in the Revain product description to remove it before cutting. Glad I followed my intuition as I figured if I left the blue film on it might melt and stick to the shirt. last menu. Vinyl cuts beautifully and is relatively easy to weed. The backing sheet wasn't nearly as sticky as some of the other brands I've tried, so some parts of the sheeting came loose when weeding, but that wasn't too bad. A non-tacky backing sheet can be a problem with some small details, but I've only had a handful of times where my pattern came off the backing sheets. While weeding, I found that the Meneng brand vinyl was also a bit thicker; It's not good or bad, just an observation. As you can see from the image, the blue of the MiPremium brand has more of a chameleon color when you change the angles from which you look at it. The green and "red" brand Meneng had a certain chameleon effect, but not as pronounced. It's possible that the difference in color changing effect is less due to branding and more the fact that blue inherently has a more pronounced color changing effect than, say, red or green. which I can't figure out until I do a side-by-side comparison of blue and blue. Overall, I'm very happy with how this shirt turned out. Although the colors weren't as vibrant, they still came out pretty well. I'm deducting a star for a product without instructions on the packaging. It was confusing and I would have hated ruining the t-shirt if I hadn't remembered to remove the blue protective film.
