I must have missed "no zippers" when looking at this product. I blame a new mother's brain. I wouldn't consider this any safer than a swaddle blanket as it comes off easily and just like a blanket can pose a choking hazard. Is it lighter than a blanket? Naturally. But there are much better and SAFE products for uncomplicated changing. I didn't even bother using it because I knew it would just pop open once my baby started crunching as a newborn. I knew I wouldn't sleep because I'd worry all night if she got free. I would have sent it back if I hadn't thrown it in the wash before realizing the missing clasp.
