They are much thinner than the competitors' products. I froze them for 2 days and then tried using them on horse legs. The amount of gel in these ice boots was totally insufficient to keep the horse's hooves feeling cool after 15 minutes on the hoof. I'm returning them as they just don't work and I will buy the Finn Tack brand which I know works and has enough internal gel to get the job done.
