Excellent model for getting started with razors
This razor, which is old school and used by an old school barber for over 50 years, gave almost identical results. I particularly like that the blade can be changed to allow for a close and close shave. Very durable but not that heavy. You really need to have a steady hand as it's not as heavy as a traditional straight razor. I found this out the hard way, but that's how you learn. It's on the gift list for older people in the family as well as young people just starting out. I can only recommend buying this model.
