I really don't understand how this can have negative reviews. I am admittedly quite strict with products when it comes to my expectations and my satisfaction goes. I'm here to say this table is everything. For the price, you absolutely can't beat it. Most of the negative reviews I've read can easily be refuted. Firstly, I see a lot of complaints that this isn't real wood is. He doesn't claim it, he says "wood look". I also hope most people understand that you can't get a real wood table for like $30. Maybe I'm crazy, but I put drinks out all the time my side table and I don't want real wood. It's too easily warped and damaged. This table has a texture that mimics real wood and it's so beautiful! The color makes it look weathered. S You won't know it's not real until you look closely. The second complaint I've often encountered is that the screws come loose. I think it's because people don't screw them in tight enough and I can understand why. You'll have to assemble it to see what I mean, but if you tighten the screws hard enough they will seat in the recess that the screw will make in the frame. I think a lot of people would be afraid to screw them in that tight because it looks like it will damage the frame and it requires a lot of tightening. I promise it's the right way. You should definitely tighten them to this point to keep them from loosening. Once you see that the head of the screw fits into that small indentation, you'll know it's tight enough. Just don't go any further or you could bend or break the frame. It's hollow metal so it can be bent. Finally, there are a few people who say this table is ugly. Well, that's subjective. I don't find it ugly at all. I think it suits many different types of interiors, from rustic to bohemian, scandinavian, modern, elegant and more. It's a simple table, yes. But it's so versatile and can be embellished with your decor. Bottom line, I don't think you can go wrong with this table (unless you're someone who gets a lemon, I saw a review of a really broken table). The price is very reasonable and it looks really high quality for the price. Strong and fluffy.
