Has worked for about 2 years and has been used about 2-3 times a week during that time. It was never compressed to the maximum allowable mass. When he died the screen just stayed on showing 353.2 pounds (my wife used it daily and that's over 200 pounds). After the batteries died (because the screen burned nonstop for a week), I changed the batteries. It didn't fix the scale. I tried to tidy it up a bit and noticed that one of the legs was askew. When I tried to straighten it the leg fell off with very little effort and this exposed the sensor/chip for the scale. Pros: - When purchased it worked as advertised - was very accurate. - Originally thought it was good - reasonably priced. Con: -Didn't last as long as it should. -After about a year of use it lost accuracy to 10-15lbs +/- (and yes I know how to dial it out install and recalibrate) - you seem to get what you pay for with this article.
