Brilliant invention

UPDATE: We have been using these for home schooling and painting/painting lessons. My 2.5 year old likes it too. It's amazing how it fits all sizes! Some people complain that when you stand up, they fall down. True, but 1) the child learns very quickly that jumping/squirming isn't good (helps get the job done calmly) and 2) it's easy to fix if it's annoying. or place the corner of the top in a trash can or on the edge of something, for example. The surface is a bit slippery but the kids learned to hold their books. If this makes really heavy books aggravated I have used folding clips to secure the book to the table. In my opinion they are indestructible (my boys even used them for skateboarding on the side of a table). They fold neatly but don't fold, so you'll need to find a place to store them. Great that they are portable - we even took them to paint on the patio in the summer! Even if the outer surface is slightly damp from dew or whatever, it doesn't matter because you're sitting on a waterproof surface. Also, some people complain that they are not plush. For little kids, I sometimes used a flimsy throw pillow from the couch. But to be honest, for centuries children spent all day on hard wooden chairs learning their trade. If someone has to sit for 15-20 minutes to create a workbook, is that a lot? I always make sure we don't sit and stand up and shake/jump/exercise for too long before we continue. So these tables are great for us! Christmas. And I'm buying another one for my two year old. It's awesome! We are home schooled and they are perfect to have a desk wherever you need it. Doing homework on the couch and need a desk pad quickly? Tada, the sofa becomes a table. The chair becomes a desk. The floor becomes the table. Wherever you sit, there will be a table. I was worried it wouldn't fit a 4.5 year old but somehow that's almost spot on. Sitting on a thin cushion is ideal, but he often refuses it on purpose, and that works too. His little brother figured out how to sit on the edge to keep the table upright and now he's demanding the table. So I have to give him one, otherwise I have no rest. Some people say that falling down when standing up is annoying. That's true, but it can also be an advantage. The wavy kid who knows the table will fall over when they get up gets a lot calmer at the table because they don't want to be constantly collecting their workbook and stationery because YOU made the table fall over by wiggling around them. The work surface could be a bit bigger and I'm wondering if a small ledge could be added to hold up the edges of the book. The surface is textured in such a way that the slick but grippy books simply slide off, which can be frustrating for young children. I just took a large clip and attached the workbook to the table. The problem is solved. The table itself is a single, incredibly formed, durable piece of plastic. I think this is the thickest piece of plastic I've ever seen. I'm not worried that it will break soon. I think the invention is awesome! I think it would be nice if you could get a soft seat if needed (good for small kids, probably not great for adults).
