PERFECT 7 port hub with switch and USB3 power delivery! "Sabrent HB-BUP7 USB 3.0 7-port hub with separate power buttons, LEDs and 36W PSU" is the answer to my 3-year search for a switchable and powered hub that actually works properly with Windows 10 PCs is working! I've tried all the others, cheap and expensive, and they all didn't work properly with external hard drives. But THIS Sabrent hub finally allows me to reliably power external drives on and off without having to constantly plug and unplug like before. All of my hard drives are powered from a 2.5" USB 3 port, which is powered from the hub's ports. This is the ONLY hub that provides stable and sufficient power to its ports with multiple hard drives attached, so they don't lose their connections in the middle of large data transfers or corrupted data between drives. REGARDLESS OF THE COST! I was going to buy the 10 port version of this Sabrent hub but ended up buying the 7 port HB-BUP7 hubs and daisy chaining them (14 ports used) because they have good compact performance. adapter, while the 10-port version uses a big, clunky, two-cord European-style power supply, which I don't like. Although Sabrent hubs have never been my favorite in the past because they didn't work well with external hard drives connected as above, THIS IS AW INTERNAL!
