I had been using a wired mouse the past few years since my previous wireless mouse used batteries and I was tired of having to buy batteries every few months.This wireless mouse solves that problem by having a built in rechargeable battery. It charges rather quickly using the included standard usb cable.• I like the modern twist on the design with the different led lights that rotate thru.• This is not a bluetooth mouse, you'll need to have an open usb port to plug in the included usb dongle.• It connected instantly to my mac without any setup or hassles.• The only issue I've been having thats keeping me from giving it a higher rating is that it's a bit jittery, and does disconnect here and there even while I'm using it. It's not a huge deal, but can be distracting. Clicking on the mouse button will always reconnect it.
