Exactly what I was looking for and unbeatable for the price. Received the product when they said I would. Weather most of the strap is 4 inches wide. The overall length is only 97 inches. The middle and widest part is 32 inches long and the straps are 33 inches long on each side. I'm 5ft 2" tall and my waist is 29" at it's smallest point. I took this picture next to my 23 inch carry-on for a little comparison.

One size was the only size so didn't fit the hourglass I was hoping for. As per other reviews, yes it has a fishy smell. So strange. It's wrapped in plastic, but PU! this smell is obvious. I'm airing it right now and will follow the directions to dry it clean. Once I get used to the belt I think I'll like it because it covers my midsection. The photo is with a dress and skirt. Much better with a dress.

The red belt is a bit darker than expected but still looks good. Other reviews have mentioned the smell but I don't feel anything that irritates me. The belt literally emphasizes the curves of my body. I ordered it for my summer dress which is a bit loose in my waist. I really like the dress but I don't want to look pregnant. As you can see in the attached picture there is a big difference with and without the belt! I plan on getting black for my other dresses!

I like this obi style belt for the price (compared to real leather belts in the $50+ price range). in black and navy) and it fits me perfectly (size 8). I think the max waist measurement for a proper belt tie at the back is about 33 inches, otherwise you'll just have a portion of the tie that crosses at the back. (Note: the lace-covered version of this belt fits a smaller waist - likely a maximum waist of around 29 inches - provided the thicker part of the belt meets properly at the back.)

Nice belt and it served its purpose (visually) for the Merida Brave costume I wore to work last week. Unfortunately I became more and more suspicious as I worked, only to realize at the end of the day that it was me and that was the BELT! I even confirmed with other colleagues that the strap smelled like fish! As a woman, I was embarrassed that I went to work all day unconsciously, sniffing, well, ripe :/ I aired the belt a few days before putting it on, reading reviews that the belt was right…

I love this belt and it fits my 30 inch waist perfectly. However, if your waist is much larger, then this option may not be for you, as I do not have trendy long ties. Faux leather arrived with a terrible smell, I doused my back in Febreze and aired it out for over a week. I can't smell anymore. The quality seems good and strong, the seams are sewn well. ...Remember the straps are folded and sealed so you can see the visible stitching. My only concern is that they will eventually come to Ararat

I bought this to wear with a large tunic and leggings. As you can see, it works great! The wrap belt is a long piece of faux leather with a thicker center. I put it next to the leggings for size comparison in the picture. I didn't like the look which was too bulky around the belly so I just folded it before wrapping and tying it in a bow in the front (see pic).
