Not expensive and it got my chain saw working again

I was given an electric chain saw, that was not able to cut any wood. The chain seemed sharp, but when I replaced it with this chain it was like getting a new chainsaw.

Pros
  • almost half the price of the others and does just fine or even better on my Craftsman no complains !
Cons
  • Can be too heavy for some users

Really good quality. The wife loves it.

Well made, good steel and (gasp) appears to be better than the leading brand named after a Northwest State. That's my review.

Pros
  • I’m convinced buying this beats sharpening and I’m getting more now
Cons
  • May not be very fuel efficient

Better value than most

I have oak and hickory trees that were cut down earlier this year. Now I am cutting up the lower sections so that I can burn out the stumps later. These chainsaw chains work as well or better than the ones that came with the saw, and you get two for about the price of one from the firm that manufactures the saw. So far, they are cutting into the hickory trees (very hard wood) with much better ease than the chain that came with the new saw. In fact, they make you wonder why the manufacturer did…

Pros
  • Can't rate longevity yet, still cutting like new.
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all oils

Fit my vintage Holelite XL12 and worked fine

I bought this chain for my Vintage Homelite XL12 due to the price since I use my saw only occasionally. It fit my vintage, 1960s, Homelite XL12 that I got from by brother-in-law's father's estate when he died. It needed just about everything on the exterior so I rebuilt it 20 years ago. I cleaned out the filth and dirt. I put on a new clutch and chain. I adjusted the magneto and cleaned (but did not rebuild) the carb. I put on a new fuel line and filter and a new plug.I was told by a Homelite…

Pros
  • it was just what I ordered. Went on saw fine, cut well. couldn't ask for more. good price
Cons
  • May not be very eco-friendly
