3M Micropore Paper Tape - 1 x 10 yds - Box 12

This is a great product and very easy to cut and apply. My intention was to use it to replace the patches. If I use it on a part of the body that is protected from water and dirt, the tape works well. It doesn't work well on my hand because of the dirt and moisture that causes the tape to quickly unravel or curl.

Great for sensitive skin!

I buy this thing occasionally. It's a lot easier to remove from skin than the crappy glue you find on commercial bandages. (Just wet it and slowly peel off one corner.) But it will hold "anything" until it gets wet. Ideal for use on sensitive skin areas as well as high friction areas such as feet, ankles and knees. And this tape - it "breathes" - accelerates healing. (I actually cut the pads off regular patches and just taped them on with this tape. It's way better than the commercial stuff.)

Stick it to the man!

3M paper tape is fantastic. I have been using this tape for many years. It's a lot better than plastic tape and a lot less sticky, although it still holds up really well over a long period of time. I donate platelets to the American Red Cross every few weeks. They use it there and when it's removed it pulls far less hair out of my arm than a plastic band. I bought it for my father who has diabetes. His skin has lost its elasticity after 13 years of dialysis and has become very sensitive and…

Awarded Product: Healthcare

I use this tape for an unusual purpose: I use it to tape my dog's ears to protect them from foxtails. Her long ears fly up as she runs through the fields, allowing foxtails to enter her ear canal, and taping seems to have solved the problem. The tape stays firmly in place, but when I remove it the hair never sticks and I don't seem to mind removing it at all. The tape, which I previously bought from a retailer, had to be replaced many times during our 2-3 hour run. This tape is applied once and

Wonderful bandage for various wounds

I have had many Mohs surgeries for skin cancer caused by sun damage and have been using this product for over 10 years and have gone through 20-30 rolls. I use it in combination with telfa pads which I cut out to cover the size of the wound. Hypoallergenic tape is very suitable for this use. This is great paper tape. Period. It has enough adhesive to stay in place but not enough to pull or tear the skin when removed. I'm in my 80's and when you've gotten old you know that the skin gets very…

Ideal for sensitive skin

I can't use many of the bandages and plasters on offer because they irritate my skin. This tape holds well even when wet and does not cause any side effects. It holds up well even when I'm wearing leather gloves and gardening. One nice thing is that your skin can breathe so you don't get an odd skin color when you take the bandage off. The only downside is that when you peel off the tape, there is sometimes some glue left on the skin. out. It only seems to happen when you get wet. However, it…

3M Micropore Tape on First Aid

I gave that 3 stars and probably no fault of the tape. My respirator stuck to the bridge of my nose, making it very red and scarred. Bought this item to be a barrier and prevent sticking (didn't know about mask liners at the time). I placed the tape on the bridge of my nose and slightly under my eyelids. It worked very well, but it stuck to my skin so well that it was very painful to remove. I found that if I spliced the two pieces together (one shorter than the other) and left a small amount…
