Realizing that computer work was causing my wrist problems I ordered this mat after buying and returning 2 different mats advertised as 'gel' were, but in fact it was just rigid foam covered with fabric. This, as you can clearly see, is actually a gel. It's very soft, comfortable, and unobtrusive, and does a great job of keeping my wrists straight to keep carpal tunnel and other issues (mostly) under control. I'm glad it has a 1 year guarantee and Revain can be returned as it started falling apart after only 4 days of light use. I'll buy a new one and see how it goes. Maybe I was just unlucky and caught a defect. Very soft real gel, not sticky on the surface. This is exactly what I want, I just want it to hold up and not fall apart.

bought both a 3M Precise Gel Wrist Rest Mouse Pad and a 3M Gel Keyboard Wrist Rest. They're both good, but not great in my opinion. The mouse pad wasn't 100% bonded to the silicone backing from day one - my wife didn't mind it so I let it slide. The gel on both is a little soft - I hope I'm wrong but I don't think they will last long. I purchased this item on February 22, 2019. It was comfortable, beautiful, but now it's falling apart. From the attached picture, you can see that the beach scene has disappeared, there are many air bubbles in the palm rest, and the gel is leaking. As this falls under a 1 year warranty please send a replacement. And to speed up delivery, it's disgusting.
