Functionality via the mod

I'm kind of obsessed with hearing protection. I lost my hearing a bit as a kid, so I want to protect what I have left. I play drums, shoot guns and enjoy loud live rock 'n' roll. I have foam earbuds, hi-fi earbuds (baffles), electronic headphones, thin or flat headphones, standard headphones and now these extreme headphones. If you're looking for something that offers moderate hearing protection...either because the noise you're dealing with isn't very loud (low volume), or you actually want to

Excellent. IF your EARS are SMALLER than mine. or have loose earlobes!

Well done. Fully adjustable. The crown or bandage worn on the top of the head can be changed if necessary. I have a high crown on my head so I reshaped the band to fit my head by bending it. Plus, out of the box, these muffs squeezed my head pretty tight. No problem. with a slight outward curve of the headband, and I was able to increase the distance between the ear cups and reduce the down pressure. The foam pads on the cups are really soft and comfortable and easily isolate external noiseโ€ฆ

Best comfortable soundproofing I've found.

These are far from the first headphones I've used to block out noise. But they are the first to sit quite comfortably without pinching your head like a vise. They're still a little tight, but very secure and the pressure feels more spread out, which is a positive. I think over time I'll feel more comfortable. But in terms of comfort, it's really quite good. Other headphones (whatever you want to call them) are either super cheap, or broken, or incredibly tight and painful to my ears and head. I
