Scotch(R) Book Tape 845 by 3M - 1.5 Inches x 15 Yards (7382) Review

It is so thick that it does not move with the spine as hoped. It's difficult to work with him. Cutting with scissors to fit the spines of the book as shown on the box will cause the tape to "spread out" (like stockings) and break. Once this happens there's nothing you can do about it since it's very sticky (which is good! But not if you need to fix something that happened just because the tape is kind of fragile). I really like this tape. The spines of many of the hymns in my church began to tear. Since it's a lot cheaper to repair than replace in this case, I looked locally for book repair tape but couldn't find it. I ordered these online. I ordered clear so it looks like regular packing tape. It is much stronger and more flexible than duct tape. I've been buying this tape for about 20 years and I think it's great. When I was a teacher I used it to mend books and put it on the covers of all my new paperbacks to give them a lot of strength and prolong their life. 20 years later I took some of these out of storage and the tape is still stuck and clean, in fact it looks brand new.
