So far so good: Amplifier

Amplifier I have finished speaker wiring for a day. Reworked some old speaker cabinets with two Pyle 600W 8 ohm and 2 350W 4 ohm 6x9 subwoofers. Then I hooked up a solo amp with a 10" amp. Sounds cool so far

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Empty

No sound, Bluetooth patchy

I've been working with a set of speakers in the "A" position for a while. Blue Tooth was patchy and cut off beyond 15 feet. I contacted tech support and asked if a bluetooth booster could be added. The answer was no. Added another set of speakers on side "B", turned the unit on and it clicked loudly several times, and then nothing. Remote speakers "B" and "A" stopped working. I tested the "A" and "B" speakers with another 2-channel receiver I had and they work fine, so the problem isn't with…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Everything is fine

looks better than it is

After unpacking, I heard loose parts rattling in the amplifier's housing. The outer box, box and packing foam were in perfect condition so it appears to be a factory defect. I ended up tilting it so I could see a small black screw and a piece of translucent plastic inside the amp case. Big enough not to fall through the vents. No interest in wasting time disassembling to remove parts and it doesn't seem to affect performance but is still sloppy. There is also no on/off switch on the remote…

Pros
  • Receiver and Amplifier
Cons
  • Electrical outlet required
