Fix lots of phone cords for $5 instead of a new one!

I used connectors to repair a handset connector that had a broken clip. All I could find were new cell phone cables starting at $5 for the cheapest. Instead, I bought spark plugs and replaced the broken one. I will repair the following defective parts free of charge!

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Worked on a Cisco handset

A small plastic clip broke the handset cord at work and it kept slipping out of the handset. I used my regular pliers that I always had and it worked. I'm not sure I'll ever use the other 11, but I'll add them to my other cables just in case. In the 6 years I've been doing this job, this is the first repair I've needed.

Pros
  • Phone accessories
Cons
  • Nothing here

Good for that char job

Need a replacement main steering wheel pedal connector and don't you know it's a weird RJ connector on the left? This fits the bill perfectly. I can't even find a crimping tool for this thing, but I used a small screwdriver to insert the crimp terminals while holding the wires in place. It's not perfect, but the pedal works 💯. And there are a few more connectors I need first.

Pros
  • Phone cord
Cons
  • There are cons
