I bought these bags to tidy up while I walk the dog. Why do you ask? Because the cost of dog grooming bags at the local pet store is much higher. And these thin bags are almost impossible to open when it's cold outside. Standing out in the cold trying to open a dog grooming bag isn't my idea of fun!

Good bags but if you have small hands it is not recommended to use them to collect dog poop. I used the bags that my newspaper came in to collect dog poo until I quit the daily Times propaganda. These bags are not as wide as regular newspaper bags and it is difficult to get the clutter out without making a mess.

These bags are marketed as newspaper bags but I think they are perfect for cleaning up after our dogs especially for those of us who live in suburbs or cities where the Collection is expected and routine. They are opaque (nice to see the contents) and the pouches come in two widths to suit your dog's size. I bought the 6" wide for my 16 lb dog. Plus they are organized in pockets to hang on the wall right next to the leash on the door! If you use them almost daily they will last about 15 months…
