Excellent Chalk Paint

I use these when renovating old furniture to make chalk paint. Add a little to regular color for a strong and lasting finish and you may not even need a primer. I also made some bird figures, why not.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall
Cons
  • Some Shades

Good plaster

This is a good quality modeling plaster. It is very easy to use, blends well and can be used in different sizes of molds. It was more than I needed for my project so I just grab some and use it to make other shapes or crafts with my family. This is a good product.

Pros
  • Modeling accessories
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Make your own chalk paint with this ingredient!

I use this to make my chalk paint. This product mixes well and has virtually no lumps. Plaster from Paris isn't a product I would normally buy for any reason, but if you're going to buy pre-made chalk paints it makes sense to learn how to make your own. Sloane paints send you to the poorhouse, so head over to YouTube and learn how to make your own. looks very organic :)

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • Available in white only

Excellent molding material

This is a classic plaster for craftsmen and model makers, which can meet all your plaster needs. Does exactly what is intended with something of a mixture of plaster and water. The mixture stays liquid long enough to be ready to use, but not long enough to wait unnecessarily for it to start to solidify. For making plaster molds I would recommend slow drying in a dehydrator. As with any plaster product, it takes some time to dry but dries well and retains excellent detail.

Pros
  • Molding and casting
Cons
  • Drill pack
