When I bought my Jeep there were no manual transmission cars in the dealership so I bought an automatic transmission. I still love my jeep very much! I've always wanted a B&M T shifter and was having trouble figuring out how to fit it into my Jeep. I found an adjustable adapter, made some modifications to it and it fit! It's higher than the stock shift knob, but much more comfortable! I'm glad I finally figured out how to do it!

I bought this out of nostalgia for having a B&M Hammer shifter when I was 16 and was not disappointed. Lies well in the hand, has a good weight. Sometimes in the summer in direct sunlight for a while it can have myriad shifts, but that's the only shortcoming I have. Since I installed the 01 Mustang, I had to make an adapter to accommodate the metric thread on the shaft. Hand. Bought with a B&M short travel shifter for my 2002 Jeep Wrangler. I ended up returning the short travel B&M derailleur because it didn't work and didn't like the way it felt and I'm sorry to say that this knob does not fit a stock derailleur.
