Lamp clamp fits perfectly on my desk. light is very bright and magnifying glass is great for my jewelry making. Husband also used the magnifying glass to read some instructions that were too small. so it's a great overall lamp.

I love the light and the ability to swivel and target. The lamp doesn't fall over no matter where you point it or flex it. It's a little difficult to get the item I'm looking at exactly the right distance under the magnifying glass sometimes, which is my only complaint. But overall, it's been very helpful.

The magnifying is good, the light is good and that’s where the good for me stops. The arm for this lamp is short. It would be fine if you had the ability to have the lamp right in front of you but if you need it on the side of your table it only stretches about 8-10 inches out. So I put the flat base on it but it’s top heavy and tips over if stretched out. This is being returned and I will have to keep looking.

I bought this so I can check coins for imperfections. I’m hindsight a stronger magnification lens would’ve been a little better but for the price point I can’t complain. Easy assembly and the usb cord makes using a battery pack a fair option if you can’t get close to an outlet. I’d recommend this hands down.

Everything about this light is good. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because if you hold the light switch for longer than a beat, the light doesn't turn on. It made my grandma believe it was broken, as her dexterity doesn't allow her to be super quick with buttons. It's strange because you'd think the light would still turn on if the button was engaged, but instead it aborts mission and leaves you in the dark. I enjoy using it but the neck is almost too hard to bend. If you do bend it the way you needed, it tends to lean over. It’s a bit annoying when you’re trying to get it to the perfect angle to actually use the glass part. Even then, it’s like you have to get it to that perfect angle for it to properly work. The light itself is good.

2 minutes after assembling it I found the flaw. The magnifying glass cannot focus on the object unless the object is within 3 inches under the glass. If you move it farther, it becomes blur. Since you have to place the object so close, it doesn’t magnifying it much bigger. At most 2x. It may work for reading, but for working on crafts 3 inches of space under the glass is not enough room. Returned it right away.

I purchased this for my wife. She does needle work and is experiencing vision loss, due to retinal issues. She said this has improved her ability to do her needle work greatly. We like the fact that you can either clamp this to a table or just use it as a regular lamp that sits on a table.

This light is a life-saver for me as I do crafts that are small in detail and needed the extra light and magnification to see better. It's great!

This magnifier lamp did a pretty good job for the beading work I was attempting to complete. It was a bit awkward to use though due to the short arm. It sits on a table and I had some difficulty getting it focused on my project at times that was held in my hand. Also it was a little hard to pull the thread from the project as I worked so I moved the lamp/magnifier out so it was positioned away from the table edge.

The footpads on the table base leave black marks if you move the base around. That’s why the four stars. Other than that this is a great smaller light/ magnifier! Plenty night enough!

After fighting an old craft lamp for far too long I finally got this one and LOVE it. You can move the neck around (back and forth as needed) without it becoming loose at the screw base.

This is an amazing lamp, worth much more than I paid. Absolutely LOVE it!It's super sturdy with a nice, heavy base. The brightness adjuster is perfect and I can light up my workspace to the degree I need. I love the different tones as well.Really happy with this purchase.

My first impression was wow this is heavier than I thought. It’s very well made. It has a base to stand on a desk or table and then you can take that off to use the screw on clip, which is super heavy too. I’m very impressed. The light is bright, the magnifying glass is perfect.

Great Light for hobbyists.I like that you can adjust the brightness and the "mode" of the light (warm, cool, daylight).

Very robust construction compared to what they have online and the good ones are sold out or discontinued.It has an anti shine light which does not reflect on whatever I have under it also keep in mind to have that goose neck on the base straight 2 inches as it is not to damage the lap for a greater life span.In short I can say this is one of the good ones.

My mom has very bad vision and stopped knitting with black yarn because of her vision but this light allows her to knit with dark colored yarn! I wish I got her this sooner!

This was a gift and was well received. I may need to purchace a few more. I was told it is sturdy and not easily tiped over. It aids in reading small type on nearly everything. I highly recomend this for any aging family member.

Bought this for my grandfather who has macular degeneration. He loves it. Helps him be able to read a little and with seeing medication and his mail.

I have this product for over a month now and I love it! The light settings are a nice touch and the brightest setting lights up almost the entire room. It hasn't fallen over and I position it in many directions. The magnifying is decent for the price and the light ring helps a lot.
