📱 Black LCD Screen Digitizer Assembly Touchscreen Front Glass Replacement for iPhone 6 Plus (5.5 inch) (A1522, A1524, A1593) Review

Adhesive tape for the home button on the screen not sold. You would think a screen replacement would have all the tape attachments. I realized I had to re-do my old home button for assembly, but there was no connection point. Misleading Advertising.

I received the item waiting for my son to fix my phone. Just because he's a genius got that fixed! There were NO instructions in the kit, and there were no parts. He had to go through the instructions and find available parts in my house to complete the task. Also, this part lacks a touchscreen.

junk. Check out the assembly instructions, see if you can read anything, especially the instructions printed in green on an orange background. I had to search for videos online. The tools are cheap useless plastic - I used tools from an older set that were much better. After assembling the phone, it didn't work.

The touchscreen wasn't great for a week or two and then one day the phone got stuck on restart. Now all you have to do is connect to iTunes. Something on this cheap screen shorted out and caused a malfunction. I have now bought a new iphone but it would have been worth spending the extra $20 and getting a quality replacement. The support team is terrible and they send you bullshit about what needs to be done to fix the problem.

bought to replace a broken screen. The installation of the new screen went smoothly. Once everything was in place and the phone turned back on, the screen went black as requested, but the touchscreen didn't work. I disassembled the phone again and looked at the wires and contacts from both the motherboard side and the screen side with no visible damage. Reassembled with the same problem, still unable to use the touch screen.

Too bad because the screen looks good but the top part of the screen doesn't work.😞 I think it's a defect. I know I installed it correctly because I've probably done it soooo many times, there are about 9 iPhone 6 Plus in this house and I've changed the screen many times. My review is late because I bought this screen and saved it so I can replace the screen when my daughter comes back from a vacation where it cracked.

Apparently there is more than one type of screen replacement kit. I originally bought a kit that only had one screen; I needed one that actually connects to the phone! This was the kit I ordered once I realized what I needed/wanted. Everything is OK. My son made a real substitute. It worked so well he wanted me to give him the phone! Looks like new - nice shiny glass lid and works great. I keep it for ME!

So I got this screen in March 2018 with a depressed area (a small shaded area only visible on dark screens) but it wasn't at all not an issue for me. It's October 2018 and the right border and parts of the left border of the screen are no longer working. the middle is ok. But anyway I have to replace it now because working with my phone has become a problem because I have to rotate the screen to press "p" or "Delete" and in apps I can't rotate, I have to work around without him.
