I was skeptical about this size because my daughter is only 6 and wears a girls size 7 in the US. I had to order a size XXL and thought it wouldn't be too big but it fits her perfectly and isn't very tight like most leggings. I had to ask her to take them off because they are for her Halloween costume, but they are definitely worth keeping for reasons other than the costume!

I have bought gold leggings in the past and they have not lasted - so far they are great! I booked a day of school for my daughters expecting it to last only once but I was wrong! These survived. Make sure you wash inside out and avoid things like Oxyclean and you'll be fine! They fit as expected - my daughter usually wears 2T and only had 3-4T available. so i put them on her and made them work (plus they will last us a long time!)

As other reviews say, great for one time wear. They are as pretty as the picture but they only last a day. They withstood washing, but didn't survive even a day's rest. My daughter's knees are worn out (she's 6) but she still wears them. The gold has fallen off her knees, but she has no holes yet and she has worn them five times. She refuses to get rid of them.
