Duck Baby Kids Safety Non Slip Bath Mat - Skid Proof, Mold & Mildew Free - Vinyl Material (Yellow Duck) Review

After almost a year of using this mat, black mold has formed between the two layers of mat in and around the ducks. There is no way to clean it, so do I have to throw the mat away We cleaned it weekly with bleach and hung it up after each use so I'm not sure I could care for the rug better.

It's very functional and good for the grip I needed in the bath but the ducks fell off from day one. I will try to put them on myself but I was sad the ducks didn't stay because they are cute. There are 2 or 3 left at the moment but the suction cups are really good and they achieve what I basically wanted - not sliding on the bathtub floor.

I bought this bath mat for my kid's bathroom mainly because it is mildew resistant. I thought I would be disappointed yesterday when I started seeing black underneath but to my surprise the black was all over the tub and NOT ONE on the carpet! Super easy to clean the tub, so I was very excited! I would recommend this rug to anyone with young children who love to take a bath!

Excellent bath mat, I've been using it for several months and there is still no mold on the underside. The trick is to take it off every night and dry it upside down (I hang it on the edge of the tub). Complete drying will help prevent nasty things from growing on the floor. I can wash with soap once a week or once every two weeks, but so far it hasn't been necessary. There used to be one from Ikea that had to be disposed of within a month due to mold. I highly recommend this product.

I wanted to find a mat that my 15 month old baby would sit on and not slip while bathing. Reading reviews of other rugs, I haven't seen a single negative review about how it holds the tub and how it feels on the bare floor. I remove it after every bath as I have older children. The length can be a little longer. I have an old tub from the 70's and it's sticking to it. I would recommend 2 years. old and young, right now. I'll tell you more when the baby is 2 years old!

It all turned out how I imagined, the only thing I didn't like was that my son still slips on the mat every now and then. I bought this because my 9 month old was now sitting in the tub by himself but slipped easily. I bought something he could sit on and not slip. This reduced slip incidents but was still slippery than expected. The studs should be "ribbed", but the area of each stud is still large enough to slide over. Something with dots could be better.

My little girl slipped on her back in the bath and hit her head so we thought a non slip mat was needed. Although it smelled a little when it arrived, a thorough rinse with soap did the trick. The carpet is pretty cute, but not embarrassingly childish and gross (like some baby stuff!) when guests stay and shower.
