This is JERSEY not a knit

Bought because the description said it was a knit. I was expecting stretchy knit material and was very surprised when I opened it up and found a knitted scarf. I wouldn't classify it as a knit at all. It's not thick, but it's not made for the summer heat. Very disappointed.

This is a large thin scarf or shawl that can be styled many different ways but I prefer wearing it over to drape the back. my favorite armchair, comfy for chilly evenings - it adds just the right amount of warmth when I need it and the color goes well with my space. Feels like cashmere

I like cashmere more than wool because it softens the slightly rough edges of wool while keeping you warm. I live in Michigan and have several cashmere sweaters and many capes. This indicates that it is 5% cashmere, which should not be confused with a shatush scarf. Versatile scarf in a beautiful color

I have too many scarves but this is one of my favorites! It's so simple but really pulls together a casual outfit. It has wool and cashmere in it, but to me it looks more like cotton jersey. Based on the description and lack of reviews I wasn't sure what to expect from the fabric. When I think of jerseys, I think of t-shirts. So yes. I had no idea what exactly I could get.
