Yes, good mount.

A good firm holder. If you install this type on the roof of your truck, use a saw blade inside to reduce the noise of tree branches.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

it gets the job done

the plastic mount feels flimsy but holds up well, make sure you have access to the "back side" of the surface you are mounting it on so you can mount the back plate ( included)

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Security

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Much more than it seems in the photos.

Much larger than it looks in the pictures but that's ok. What bothered me was the fact that the seal that is in the instructions was not included. I just made my own with AutoZone Liner. Shouldn't have done it, especially for the price.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Good mount for the price.

ADVANTAGES: It comes with mounting plates that can be fitted both inside and outside the body panel, allowing the fiber reinforced plastic backing to fit snugly to the panel. CONS: I wish the ball was a thicker caliber. . I have a 4" fiberglass whip (with HD spring) on a Cherokee that is used off-road. I increased the mounting screws to 1/4 inch. The ball itself seems to be the weak link.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Interchangeable

CB Antenna Ball Mount

This product holds up well and has lasted a while. I have now bought two because my antenna broke after the whip went so far back it actually ripped the strands out. (Antenna touches the ground) The only thing I don't like is that the propellers are rusty after a few weeks of use so I smeared some petroleum jelly on/in the screw heads on the second one and didn't rust at all on the second one.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Big and Bulky

Easy CB antenna mount installation.

Easy to fit on my 1996 Pathfinder. The holes must of course be drilled. One in the middle for the RF line and 3 for mounting the device. I also installed sealant to keep water out of the car. If you're flush mounting you probably won't need it, but I'd use it just in case. Here is a link to a picture of my setup. He's on a 6 foot whip, so the whip is attached to my roof rack with a tennis ball for jumping.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black
