Description of 🔧 Accusize Tools Drawbar D 0223 0232: Enhance Performance and Efficiency with this Precision Tool

Made of high grade tool steel, Max RPM: 8000rpm. R8 Shank for ER32 Collets. Drawbar End: 7/16"-20. Hardened and precision ground. Max TIR 0.0002" O.D to I.D. This is an ultra-precision workholding tool. When doing the inspection to ensure that each part is wiped especially clean, and the installation must be in place, otherwise it has a great impact on the accuracy. When testing, whether the user's machine tool spindle has errors on the accuracy also has a great impact. So you need to ensure that the accuracy of the spindle of the user's test machine must be high. In addition, please make sure that the accuracy of the ER collet must be high, many ER collets are marked as 0.0005", many of them cannot reach it. If the accuracy of the collet in the hands of the customer is low, the accuracy of our toolholder is no longer high enough to detect the accuracy.

Accuracy is not what they advertise.

Good looking cartridge but marginal accuracy. My standard R8 collets have a 0.0005 runout on my cutter shanks. This was 0.002 plus using the same cutters. The same collets run on my 0.001 runout lathe, which itself is worn out. To eliminate the collets, I checked the inside of the cone and it's the same .002 runout.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • unreliable

Carefully inspect the received

The first R8/ER40 I received had an ER .002" TIR socket mounted on a milling machine spindle. .0001" in the R8 socket cone , and pins in R8 collets are typically 0.0005" or less. I returned unit for exchange. Replacement shows ER socket TIR of 0.0002" to 0.0003" depending on voltage. The pin -Runout is 0.0002" to 0.0008" and dependent on the collet. The cosmetic and detailed finish of both units is excellent - very sharp detail and nice finish. The metal is hard and resistant to spindle and…

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Great Collet

I have ER32 collets for my lathe and wanted to use them on a milling machine to hold milling cutters. The collet, borrowed from friends, was not convincing, it was one of the cheapest here at Revain. Accusize had good reviews on both Revain and a number of other websites. When I cast it, I first measured the runout and compared it to the spindle runout. added to mine already 0.0004" less than 0.0003". hmm, after cleaning and reinstalling the spindle morse taper, I couldn't get more than 0.0004"

Pros
  • Collets
Cons
  • Quick Instructions
