🔌 ACDelco LS92 OEM Multi-Use Lamp Socket - Designed for GM Vehicles Review

Works great! The faulty cable went into an old OEM socket and caused a quick flash. The new version fixed the flash and returned to normal.

I used them to replace cartridges for my daytime running lights. The old outlets on my 17 year old Silverado were blown and unreliable. Now they work great, especially with LED bulbs.

Works great on my 2005 Silverado turn signal socket, but I also removed the marking inside and used that to create it. The marking next to the turn signal now looks much better

Arrived on time, old fragile sockets are easy to replace with new ones, they are marked so the wire color is easy to splice and re-splice. I also replaced the old bulbs with new LEDs which are much brighter and cooler on the new bulbs.

Used these 3 connectors to connect and replace DRLs with parking lights/turn signals. They worked great for me. They also come with 3 waterproof butt connectors which is a great addition. Great quality from a great company and the only way to beat the price is to get a used part from a junkyard.

2001 Suburban 1500 LT. The front left turn signal does not work. changed the lightbulb. It does not work. The nest looked corroded. Was replaced with a new outlet. Works perfectly. The supplied crimp connectors are difficult to compress. An adjustable wrench with a pipe wrench was used to crimp the connectors (easy to get a crimping lever). Very happy with the product.

Sometime between 2009 and 2019 GM changed the fairing or specification. The outside diameter of the lamp socket on the lamp socket on the LS92 is larger than the hole in the lamp assembly. This LS92 will work in Solstice and Sky but requires a rotary tool to either enlarge the hole in the lamp assembly or downsize the outer edges of the lamp socket to match.

I bought this to replace a socket that was badly corroded from a water leak in the Chevy front turn signal plastic block. The quality looks good and replacing the original is very easy. However, before I cut the old outlet and plugged it into the new one, I decided to try cleaning the old one first. All three sockets showed varying degrees of corrosion. This matched the passenger side tail/brake light connector in my 2003 Silverado 2500 without modification, although not perfectly. The tabs don't look factory sold. After repeated attempts I was able to find a spot where the bushing snapped into place with a little effort and rotated to ensure a good seal.
