It was good for a while. But.

It had everything I needed and everything worked fine. It has a high quality finish. Unfortunately, after less than a year of minimal desktop use, the USB-C cable connecting the device to the laptop/tablet/phone shorted out, essentially rendering the device unusable. Now I have to buy a whole new block. I choose the one with a detachable USB-C cable.

Compact, well built, lots of ports

Quite a nice and modern design. Very compact so easy to carry with your laptop. It connects via USB-C type and features x1 HDMI port, 2x USB Type-C ports, x3 USB Type 3.0 ports, x1 TF slot and x1 SD card slot. All ports are still working without problems, so I'm satisfied. My favorite part is the rubberized texture on the top and bottom of this device and the metal frame that gives it a premium look. The piece is very durable which means it doesn't creak when you hold it tight, which I reallyโ€ฆ

Connects everything I want, secure and durable design

I bought this Acele USB-C hub to replace a previous USB-C hub from another brand and I love it. I connect literally everything to my Dell XPS 13 laptop and it's fast, stable and reliable. See the attached photos for details - you can see that I'm simultaneously connecting: - a Power Delivery (PD) adapter to power the laptop and all devices - a Logitech Unifying receiver to connect a keyboard/trackpad. combo plus a mouse monitor connected via a USB-HDMI port from Steinberg via a USB 3.0 portโ€ฆ

Mandatory for Macs

Apple has long used a family here (starting with a powerful PC). My wife is currently using a newer MacBook Pro which only has 4 USB-C ports. Every day in her home office, she uses a plug-in dock to power her printer, wired mouse, two additional monitors, speakers, etc. However, it's not the most portable device to take with you, and it costs considerably more. This little adapter was just the thing for on the go. She used a small adapter to switch from USB-C to USB-A when she was in her classโ€ฆ
