💻 Acer Chromebox CXI3-UA91 Mini PC - Intel Celeron 3867U Processor, 4GB DDR4, 128GB M.2 SSD, Chrome OS + Keyboard & Mouse Review

Bought for my son to use at school (as he is going into virtual learning this year) and very easy to set up. There was a small issue with the update, but after rebooting again everything was fixed. works just like a Chromebook, but like a small computer tower that you can attach to the back of your TV if you want to take up even less space (we didn't).

I already had a Chromebook, but I wanted a Google device with more speed and the ability to have a larger monitor. I bought this device together with a 24 inch monitor. Setup was very easy. Speed is great, no issues or issues. Highly recommended.

I ordered this yesterday and received it within 24 hours. I unplugged my old Chromebox that had run out of updates and plugged in this new one. I was up and running with all my stuff within two minutes. This new one (Acer CXI3-I58GKM) has more horsepower than my old one and is really fast. I love it.

I bought this to play GeForce Now as my old computer can't handle it. It's a great deal for the price, I now play every one of my Steam games at max graphics. I recommend it to anyone looking for PC gaming but don't want to spend $1,000 on a gaming rig.

I'm a big fan of Chromebooks and Chromeboxes. This model is one of the few fairly new models available now, it's a few years old and will be coming to AUE in Summer 2025 (automatic update expired). The choice is yours, this is a steal at the current price as the new ones coming out later this year will be MUCH more expensive. Received mine yesterday, set up and up and running in minutes. Bought this to replace a 2012 Mac Mini in our kitchen. This is our first Chromebox but we have an old 2GB Acer Chromebook and a new 8GB HP Chromebook and we use Chrome on all our Macs. I wanted to make sure it was fast (yes it is!) and had at least 8GB of RAM. I'm not sure I see a reason to get the 16GB version unless I'm using it to work with 50 tabs open.
