Doesn't work with Apple TB3 to TB2 Adapter

I'm using a TB3 to TB2 adapter so I can still use my old Thunderbolt 2 dock. I wanted better routing for the cables so they don't stick out the side, but when plugged in computer seems to connect/disconnect/etc in a loop until I unplug it. Plugging in a TB3 to TB2 adapter works right out of the box, so it's obvious these adapters aren't quite up to spec. Tried several, same result.

Manufacturing defect: Compressed connectors on both sides

Both adapters I received have the C-shaped connectors on each side quite tight - there's no way to connect them. As the damage looks the same on both adapters received, we can assume it is a manufacturing defect. They are completely useless. Those who previously spoke positively about these products in 2019-2020 were probably lucky that they received the first batch without marriage.

Useful adapter if you need one

I would joke that they accidentally sent me a bunch of left handed adapters. but nobody needs it. Seriously, the adapters work really well. I took the kit to use with a portable DP monitor via USB Type-C and they work great. It changes the cable angle to a much better angle for my laptop and mobile device and I have no power or video issues when using it. If you have an awkward USB Type-C port on your device, this might just be what you need. It just works and that's the best compliment I can…
