🪑 ACME Gaucho Bar Stool (Set of 2) - Walnut - 29-inch Seat Height Review

I've searched everywhere for bar stools that I've liked that fit together, fit under the bar, at a good price. Good thing they came in two packs. I am happy with my purchase. You look great!

Wood, stain and construction are satisfactory. Assembly was frustrating, not because of the vague instructions but because of the difficulty in getting the screws in without removing them (which means you can't put the screw caps/caps on). It's just an aesthetic issue.

Bought two of these. The color is great - a beautiful dark brown oak that goes perfectly with my oak floors. Unfortunately one had a 3 inch scratch on the top of the stool. But it's not worth going back. Generally very decent, without a scratch it would be better. Quite comfortable - these are bar stools, nobody sits on them for long.

I chose these stools because they are good quality for the price. I was very impressed when I received them. A very good quality. Assembling stools, however, was a different story. The stools are supplied with screws and an Allen key. It was very difficult to tighten these screws. It would be better if the screws could be tightened with a drill.

A lot of people complain about stripping screws. I think the problem is that the Allen key is too small. I also ripped off my hex wrench that came with the kit, but when I increased the size with my own set of wrenches, it fit better and the screws stayed in place. In addition, the chairs are durable and attractive. I was concerned about chairs labeled as carcinogenic. I think that should be disclosed before buying!

I ordered these stools to decorate my home. I sold them so the price was perfect. I wasn't looking for something that would last a long time. Unfortunately, when I received the first set I ordered, they were completely broken and had to be sent back. I reordered them and it was like the 1st set was resent to me as they were completely broken in the same spot and I had to send them back again. Needless to say I could never use the stools and I will never order them again.
