I have started cross stitching again after a break and this type of scissors was recommended for my projects. I love her. They are sharp and I can get much closer to the stitches to cut the thread. This will make the project cleaner. They fit perfectly in my small travel bag and they are beautiful.

This is normal. I like their design and value for money. My only complaint is that the smaller bird scissors are blunt in one spot so sometimes they don't cut the thread until I reset the cut. They've been like this since I got them. Maybe one day I can sharpen them with a needle file.

These are vintage stork-shaped sewing scissors from before the Civil War. Very durable for needs. I had an issue that was not caused by a company but by Revain and this company supported their product and fixed the issue quickly. Their customer service goes beyond their customers. Aconde is a big company and should be considered for product quality and customer satisfaction.

I wear these scissors when I crochet. For bedspreads and tablecloths I use #10 cotton thread. I interrupt the thread after each motif. The scissors work well and they are so cute. They are small making them easy to carry around in your crochet bag. They need to be hidden from grandchildren as they are very attracted to them. A pair of scissors would be just as dangerous as any other sharpened pair of scissors. But the younger ones love it when they can hold them and cut grandma's thread.
