Not for CFL bulbs: Electric

This adapter will NOT work with CFL bulbs. CFL lamps require a ballast to operate. BUT this adapter works great with LED bulbs. There are 4 pin LED bulbs with switches to change the color of the bulb. Here's what I'm going to do with this adapter.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • dim

BUYER ATTENTION, ITEM DOESN'T WORK.

I wish I had a beginning for "RIP OFF". The product just doesn't work. Tried a few different bulbs, a few fixtures that I tested before going in. Nothing has happened. The adapter just doesn't work. ATTENTION TO THE BUYER. Do not order this item. I couldn't find any contact information to resolve your issue. It's empty here. I WAS JUST ROBBED BY THIS COMPANY. You should not be allowed to sell this product on Revain.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Doesn't work without ballast

I had a CFL bulb I wanted to test so I needed a 4 pin adapter for a standard Edison screw base (E26/27). After all 5 bulbs didn't work and I found out on my own after some video research that these bulbs are fluorescent (didn't say CFL) so a ballast would be required which is why you can't find adapters at any reputable hardware store. So unless you have an E27 fitting with a wired ballast, this adapter will never work.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs
