Having used to twist my ankle I really needed a pair that would protect the outside of the heel from damage. These works! Remember that there is no arch support. had to add inserts

My kids have been wearing this shoe for over a year now and I buy bigger shoes as they grow. It's really comfortable with great traction and the white/foggy sky/yellow is really pretty for my daughter, even better than the photo! She wears a women's size 6 on Nike, but a size 5 is perfect for this shoe.
