Sweet Summer Dress in my review

I purchased this dress in a size 3-4 for my granddaughter's 3rd birthday. She is not a very big 3-year-old so I expected it to be roomy, and there IS room to grow -- but the high waist and the tie in back make it look just fine on her now, and she loves it! It's bright and cheerful and cool for the hot days of summer. I'm very happy with this purchase. More importantly, the birthday girl is happy!

Pros
  • My granddaughter loved the dress. Mom says having a hard time getting from her. She is only 4.
Cons
  • The fabric doesn't fell like cotton.

100% NOT Cotton for my opinion

I'm not sure what this is, but it is definitely not cotton. Still, it's a beautiful dress, it has a loose enough drape to twirl nicely, and the colors held up just fine in the laundry. It wrinkled like crazy and has been very difficult to press. No label for materials or care instructions. Inexpensive as kids dresses go.

Not what I expected

I had been watching for this dress for a long time, waiting for it to come back in stock. I purchased the blue denim looking dress with the bows. The fabric is very lightweight and thin. In the pictures of the dress, the closeups of the dress are the ones that are accurate of the dress. The dress is not solid blue. It is striped. I do like the dress but it really isn't what I was expecting.

  • The material is very soft and comfortable.My granddaughter loves her new dress.
