Bought this belt for cosplaying Anna's travel costume from Frozen II and it fits perfectly. The belt is ONLY thick at the front. So if you are looking for a thick belt all around, this belt is not for you.

Nice fabric but the obi belt is very narrow. I really wanted something wide (5-6 inches or wider all around). You can wear this sash over a beach towel, but it is not a real kimono obi sash. I think they skimped on the material. It also contains no hardeners.

Well done. Soft microfiber. As others have said it is a thin fabric. It's not as stiff as a leather belt, so it curls up a bit. I think it's beautiful. I have cream/ivory. I find pictures of 12 ways to sum it up confusing and funny. It's not even close to 12 ways, but it was obvious before I bought it. I think the seller should remove this photo as it is unrealistic.

I like the idea of this belt but the execution is not right. This is an excellent material (suede, a kind of velvet), comfortable and soft. and that's where the problem lies for me. I bought this belt because of its width, but because it's made of soft fabric, it slips. It can't stay upright and ends up looking 1-2 inches thinner because it keeps slipping when I move. It needs to be rolled a little or made from a more durable material.

As shown. Rich navy blue color and soft texture yet holds its shape and doesn't roll or curl around the waist. I wanted a wide fabric belt to match a J Crew tweed shift dress. It is of great quality and paired with the dress as if it was made with an ensemble. Remember that it is very long and can be tied in different ways. If you want to trim it you can easily do so and then tuck in less than 1" from each end and close with glue for a quick stitch or just secure with a stitch if you sew…
