The name speaks for itself. This is a nice, simple set of shaving brushes. Nothing fancy but it does the job. This is great if you're unsure if you need a brush and mug. If you don't do it after a few weeks, you can throw it away. On the other hand, if you like it, you can buy a more expensive one and keep it as a backup or use it for travel.

Arrived quickly and packed in a sturdy cardboard box. The brush is very comfortable and foams well. The whole item fits perfectly in my bathroom without taking up much space, I love it! highlighted.

The set is basic. Cleans well but badger hair falls out when lathered. When the shaver is on the stand, it will slightly move the soap dish away from the stand.

The bristles are too hard. Badger hair is not an option. Although the mug and stand are excellent. I finally ordered a new brush.

It was what I expected. Good for the price. I place my murker 34c behind the brush for easy storage. However, the brush was fine. It came with an awful smell that went away after a few washes and a few shaves. The bristles turned out to be stiffer than I thought, but I've never used a boar hairbrush (if not, sorry, don't want to look for it) so I don't know if that's normal. Also, the hair on my face came loose the first few times I used the brush.

This is a value set, but it doesn't come cheap. You want to start shaving with a brush, this will work. If you're a shaving snob, go ahead, this set isn't for you.
