The best headphones I've ever had. Their minimalist design and state-of-the-art manufacturing make these headphones some of the best you can buy right now. I'm not entirely sure, but I think this tube is a "merge/update" between the previous tube and the Vortex (also fancy headphones).

I've been using the TMA-1 for several years so I bought it as a more portable option. I was also surprised, like other reviewers, at how poor the build quality of these headphones is. I was expecting everything to be matte black, but these are just buds, the built-in controls are unresponsive and require hard presses. The sound is also very poor, even with the Bass Booster EQ there is no bass, the highs are too harsh and lacking in detail. I honestly can't recommend them to anyone.

I say amazing because AiAiAi DJ phones are great. Both better and cheaper than all the popular designer brand kits for comparable products (Dre, Bose, etc.). But these buds are just awful. (1) The spectrum is very, very large. It's more complicated than clear and sharp. The bass is a bit overwhelming in the mix. Everything sounds flat, not three-dimensional. You might get away with listening to old-school hip-hop, but any music with complex textures or sophisticated tones is difficult to see…
