I have a disability and spend a lot of time sitting in a chair, watching TV, or using an iPad to use. He stays connected 12 or more hours a day. My original wire lasted 4 to 5 years before the outside started to fall apart. We ordered 2 packs of cables. They didn't last more than 4 months so I'm using my old wire now. They have a 1 year warranty so I will try to replace them. They look great but the 30 pin end won't connect or charge.
