Great little holder. I replaced the vent mount with a suction cup from another mount that was too narrow and it worked great for me. It rattles on bumps when empty, but that's to be expected given the design and price. My phone is S9 plus with thicker body and it fits well. It is only a hair when fully seated but can be used differently than others on the market. If you have a thicker phone I would highly recommend this mount.

I bought this phone mount for myself and in the end my daughter borrowed it indefinitely and I had to order another one for myself! It fits 2012 Nissan Rogue, 2016 Kia Sorento and 2012 Chevy Colorado. It fits all our phones with box cases. It is durable and will not fall out of ventilation when riding on bumpy roads. Love the ability to charge your phone while it's in the holder! I wish I had found this car mount many years ago! Wasted so much money on a poor quality product.

This was the first one I've ever had and it took me forever to figure out how to use it. I liked that the vent clip had a rubber insert to keep it in place. As soon as I got in the car on a hot afternoon, it fell right out of the vent and the piece of rubber was gone, rendering it unusable. I decided to try it in my truck instead, and it barely fits in the air vents there. I put a couple of felt stoppers on each side of the vent clip and it has stayed in place ever since. No one has answered my question about whether the back of the mount will fit a 17mm ball head like Garmin's ball joints. So I bought one to find out YES. And it cleans my thick Vena wallet case and Mophie Juice Pack battery case for my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. It cleans the charging cable connected to the phone. Easy to hook and unhook my phone.
