🔇 AirCat 6505 Composite Silent Cut Off Review

He has had an air cutter from Florida for 20 years. got it for free, and he's just starting to behave. I knew Air Cat. I have a short 1/2" air pistol from them. I didn't know they were from the same company. Well I got my new cutting tool and it's great, feels good in the hand, no pain but the Safety switch and SILENT, very nice product, and the consumable cutting disc is thick and durable (must find it at a good price for future)

I bought this to help remove the leaf spring strut box on my Jeep Cherokee and it worked great. It has a lot of power, easily adjustable speed, great ergonomics and is quite light. My 21-gallon Harbor Freight compressor couldn't handle the job. So if you work a lot, you need a compressor with at least double the capacity. I read other reviews and I knew Aircat make good products and this cutting tool is no different. As a diesel technician I use this quite a bit and am very impressed so far. Quiet for a parting tool, it still has enough power to cut a variety of materials. I've used it at home with the compressor set at 90psi and it cut 1/4" thick steel like butter. I'd say some of its performance is enhanced by a good quality cutter wheel. Overall very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone…
