Bought these to pickle veggies for salads etc. It's the perfect size. since I often have 5 or 6 different pickles, they look neat in the fridge when they all fit together. After using, I found that they are not airtight as my fridge smells like pickled stuff. Also, if you put a weight on the daikon radish and the glass shatters with light pressure, it's not as heavy as I'd like for constant pickling. Ultimately I was disappointed with the product.

Unfortunately I received my package and some of them were broken into pieces. It must have happened in a vehicle. Got a refund through Amazon customer service but they are quite expensive for the quality. Some of the non-broken ones had a twisted rubber ring and didn't open and close very well as the flimsy metal hinge flexed with little to no pressure. I was planning on using them to make my soy candles, they also seem to have a weird dirty film on them. I would not recommend it.

It's great except it's definitely not a 16oz jar! I unpacked it, cleaned it and threw away the box and packaging. They started putting my sugar, flour, etc. in it. I had a 16 ounce box of sugar that was only half full and the glass overflowed. They should only be 8 ounces. I had a 10 ounce jar of salt (not even full) and the jar couldn't hold all the salt. Throwing away a huge box and pouring food into several of them without knowing how to return. They're cute, but it's very frustrating.

The ones that work are of excellent quality - the perfect size, glass and hole. I want the ring to be a different color, transparent would be better. I only give them 3 stars because on 3/12 cans the piece of metal connecting the lid to the can pops out when I close it meaning it won't close. I think it's too small? I tried bending it back and holding it together as I sealed the jar, but it usually popped back out. So 75% of my glasses are pretty good, but then my money's worth - or maybe you…

I like the lenses. The glass is very thick and perfectly transparent. The metal collar and latch are not that strong. A latch had already fallen apart, but I was able to fix it. Silicone rings are very pretty and fit well, but they get dirty easily. A jar contained a small amount of ash. Yes AS Why? Who knows, maybe a weird bonus gift?
